Homecoming Newsletter Progress

My group is done! I am very excited to announce that we have successfully completed our Newsletter. It looks great. I thank my group for the effort they put into the articles and the minute details. I am in debt to my group member who, thanks to his great computer skills, artfully organized the newsletter articles and pictures.

Our success didn't come without a struggle. I had trouble writing an article about the Homecoming dance. Putting some of the shortcomings of the dance in the best light was a challenge. Also, it was a somewhat like a typical dance. I had to choose the right words to make it sound special and appealing to readers, not to mention the editing that went into it. My writing was definitely not without error. And not only did I have trouble writing the short article, I had to take a picture for it. Unfortunately, I was not allowed to take the family camera inside the dance. I ended up taking pictures of people waiting outside in the dark. As one could imagine, I had a lot of pictures of people's backsides, and there were many pictures that were too dark to make out. Again, it was a struggle to portray the dance in the best light. Thankfully, my article got done, and I found one picture that was worth putting in the Newsletter. I am pleased with everyone's articles and photography, and I am proud of the end result!
